Yes, they conjure up a campfire note without the sharp taste.
Good mulled wine tastes good when it's nice and cold outside. Even better if freshly prepared with quality natural additives. Simply place 3 tablespoons per liter of red wine in a spice or tea strainer and heat. Before boiling, reduce the temperature and let it steep for 10 - 15 minutes. To sweeten the wine, add 10 - 15 g of sugar.
