Kalahari desert salt is extracted from dried up salt lakes in southern Africa. It is collected from a lake that has dried up about 280 - 300 million years ago. After harvesting, the salt is dried in the sun and packed.

There has been no significant industrial development or other human influence in the area of ​​the lake, so the salt has not been exposed to harmful environmental influences.

Kalahari Desert Salt has no disintegrants added, so it can stick together, but it's easy to crumble again on its own. This salt is perfect for everyday use.
