Designer Mati Klenella's playful Iittala silhouettes are loved by many. Perhaps his most recognizable design is his beloved Nappula (Finnish for "button") collection. Its distinctive silhouette was inspired by an old table on a large leg that Klenel saw at the Nuutajervi Glass Museum. Clennell first incorporated the classic yet modern shape into a wide range of candlesticks, all of which have soft, round shapes that combine Clennell's love of vintage and contemporary details. Now Klenell has expanded into flower pots that showcase the same distinctive Nordic design. Nappula pots have a flowing curved shape and a defined leg and are perfect for inspiring gardening.
