Finnish designer Oiva Toikka's innovative tableware collection Kastehelmi was developed in 1964. Inspired by nature, as most Scandinavian designers have done, a pattern was created with glass drops that resemble dewdrops shimmering in the morning sun. Kastehelmi, Finnish for dew drops, play with light, highlighting the reflective beauty of glass.
